Baking Without Gluten

Do you miss the smell of home baked goods?  Have you tried prepackaged store-bought mixes and been disappointed?

If so, this is the class for you!

  • We will make our own Whole Grain Baking Mix using non-gluten ingredients

  • Discuss the roles of the ingredients used as well as the optimal combination of ingredients to produce baked goods comparable to their wheat counterparts.

  • Make a batch of Sourdough Morning Glory Muffins utilizing our Whole Grain Baking Mix.

Please bring the following to class:

  • An apron

  • A large covered container to take home your baking mix

  • A whisk

  • A small jar to take home some sourdough starter made without gluten


You will take home: 

  • Whole Grain Baking Mix using non-gluten ingredients

  • Sourdough Starter made without gluten

  • Help Resources and Recipes

  • ALLERGEN NOTE:   This is not a dedicated allergen free facility. Due to the possibility of cross contamination, we do not recommend for those with severe gluten allergies.
