|End of Garden Pickle - October 23rd|
Growing season is winding down. You now have a nice hodgepodge of vegetables and want to put them to good use. What to do? Well make a pickle of course!
Crunchy white cauliflower, tangy green tomatoes, peppers, green beans and perhaps a squash – all veggies are welcome to join in the party.
This class will teach you the hot water bath canning method that can be used on future canning projects.
Feel free to bring along your own assortment from your garden or market. I will also provide lots of options.
We will be chopping and slicing, so please bring an apron, knife and cutting board.
